Sorry I haven't kept this up, I have been busy but also I can't figure out how to get his actual letters onto this blog.. I'm sure I could figure it out but I don't have time to try. Anyway he sent his camera chip home and so ill post pictures on.

Matt's first companions name was Elder Pichon. Matt seemed to really like him as a companion. He was transferred a couple weeks ago, and is now struggling a bit with this new companion... Matt is doing awesome though and they just had their first baptism.

Her name is Frances Holden, and she has been working with the missionaries for 2 years. Matt said that she almost didn't make it to her own confirmation, but she ran a half a mile to get there and barley made it on time, he also describes her as 5 feet and 150 pounds..
She must not have quiet understood how things all worked because she asked her (girl) friend to confirm her.. haha Bless her heart!
Matt has become real good friends with a family from South Africa. Xulani and Tando.. Their native language is that clicking language and Matt loves it!
He has 3 more baptisms lined up and is hoping that they all pull through and don't back out at the last second.
With his first companion he had a car that they got to drive around in.. He loved that little purple hatch back! But now being transferred, he doesn't have a car and he walking everywhere.
My parent's received a nice letter from a member of the first ward Matt was in, saying how much they love Matt and how he just takes care of everybody and loves to cook for all of them.

Matt really feels a bit lonely and has told me that he really wants people, anyone to write him. He is a very good writer, and he will write you back! he says he want s to hear from everyone and hear everything that is going on! So if you have a second of your time and want to write Matt I know it would make his day!
